John has a passionate interest in the beauty of nature and the hidden beauty of everyday things. His images include wildlife, landscapes, still life, abstract images and urban settings. He prides himself in capturing a unique view on nature using his knowledge of wildlife and their habitats gained frommhis many years of study insupport of his wood carving of songbirds and wildfowl.
John is an active member of both the Brant Camera Club and Woodstock Camera Club where he has received many ribbons in club competitions along with “Image of the Year” and “Pgotographer of the Year” awards at Woodstock.
